Description: Matching the RESIST Hybrid softshell jacket, the optionally available hood contributes to weather protection . With just a few simple steps and an innovative docking mechanism, the jacket now also offers protection for the head from wind and weather . The brushed inside of the hood ensures a comfortable fit. The hood shield has been stiffened with an inlaid special material - for just the right mix of flexibility and strength in strong winds . This ensures a good field of vision at all times. The special material is a thermally fixed net made of polyester filaments, which can be washed frequently even at high temperatures. The hood can be continuously adjusted using a 2-way adjustment at the front and back . The hood is extremely light and packs down small - for storage in the inside cargo pocket. The adjustment guarantees an optimal fit, weather protection and an unrestricted field of vision.  Attaching the hood takes just a few steps. Hidden snap fasteners in the back collar form the basis. At the front, the hood is attached to the designated garages using split Velcro fasteners. This mechanism is discreet, not bulky and ensures the suppleness of the collar. TIP: Place the Velcro fastener on the hood around your finger and slide it in. Then fold the element forward and both Velcro sides connect to each other.
