Resistance to wind and water, through water-repellent treatments (DWR - Durable Water Repellent) and the waterproof membrane used, still allows the body to breathe, preventing the production of condensation under the jacket. Softshell is recommended for periods with fluctuating temperatures, but not low, with moderate to strong winds, which can increase the feeling of cold. The softshell has an increased water resistance (minimum 5,000 mm), thus managing to offer the necessary protections in case of not very abundant precipitations. It dries very quickly. It is provided with two reflective strips, sewn on the jacket, horizontal, around the body. And on the sleeves are sewn two pieces of reflective tape. In addition, to increase visibility, the jacket also has two vertical bands, on the chest and back. The cuffs of the sleeves are, like the cuff of the jacket, made of the same material as the jacket, in order to maintain the warmth and increase the user's comfort. The jacket closes with a zipper. The cuffs are provided with a hedgehog band (velcro) that allows adjusting the level of tightening on the hand. It has a high tunic collar. The jacket has an unlined hood, made of the same material, detachable. It has two open oblique pockets positioned at the bottom, an inner pocket. It has another pocket on the front.
